WILDLIFE WATCH CONTINUES TO SAVE GEESE AT RINGWOOD STATE PARK

While we were there, the few flocks who flew overhead were diverted from landing at the decoy-strewn area behind the stone wall by loud sound blasts from a megaphone.

Sadly, there were geese killed in other areas. Gunfire ripped through the peaceful setting and grenade-type explosions were heard.

Although we hadn’t heard it before, semi-automatics were being used legally in the park.
