Four AIG executives spend $90K of taxpayer money hunting partridges

  • by

In an astonishingly brazen move, the insurance behemoth AIG decided to go ahead with a planned hunting trip to England for some of its top executives, spending $90,000 for an extravagant package at precisely the same time that ordinary taxpayers were forced by the federal government to save the floundering company with a $123 billion bailout.

Even more disgraceful from a financial standpoint, although less harmful to wildlife, was another AIG junket a few weeks earlier that saw bigwigs luxuriating at a California spa to the tune of nearly half a million dollars.

As Campbell Brown pointed out on her CNN program, “No Bias, No Bull,” the “tone-deaf Wall Street titans” ought to be grateful to the American citizens footing their bills. But apparently there is no limit to the selfishness or shamelessness of these spoiled persons.
