Injured hunter rescued in Buffalo County

An injured hunter was rescued in the Tiffany Wildlife Area in Buffalo County.

A deer hunter reported an injury of a 32-year-old male from Sulphur, Louisiana, who hurt his leg while climbing a tree and was unable to walk.

Rescue crews worked for two hours to locate the injured man and provide help. He was transported to Mayo Clinic in Eau Claire with non-life-threatening injuries.
