Hunting accident resulting in one death in Meade County | News | newscenter1.tv

On 11/12/23 at approximately 2:30 pm, the Meade County Sheriff’s Office Responded to an area north of Red Owl, SD, for a report of a hunter who had been shot.
Deputies arrived and found a male subject who had been shot one time, while he was walking through a field. The subject was identified as Dylan Evans 30, of Piedmont SD. Evans had been hunting with several other subjects, including several juveniles when he was shot. Evans was pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency units from the SD Game Fish and Parks and the Enning Ambulance Service also responded.
