The Hancock Fire Department says a man is in the hospital with serious injuries after a hunting accident Sunday afternoon.
Fire officials say the man fell out of a tree stand near Jehu Mountain Road where he suffered serious and potentially life threatening injuries.
Firefighters say the victim was then airlifted to a local hospital.
The Town of Hancock Ambulance, LifeNet and Delaware County 911 along with 18 volunteers assisted with the incident.
