North Carolina: Missing bear hunter found Pisgah National Forest (wyff4.com)

McDowell County Emergency Services say the missing bear hunter has been found in the Pisgah National Forest and has serious injuries.
Officials say a black hawk helicopter will pick the hunter up and take him to a medical helicopter that is waiting to take him to the hospital.
Authorities have not said how the hunter was injured.

Shortly before 7 p.m. on Wednesday, crews were dispatched to the Curtis Creek Campground off Curtis Creek Road in Old Fort due to a lost bear hunter, according to the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office.
Crews have been searching a large area of the Pisgah Forest between Curtis Creek and Mackey’s Creek.
