Dilworth man shot in the head while hunting in rural Moorhead

On Saturday, November 9, around 8 a.m., the Clay County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of a man hit by gunfire while hunting.
According to the Clay County Sherriff’s Department, the incident happened near the area of the 4600 block of 90th Avenue N in rural Moorhead.
When deputies arrived they found that a 34-year-old man from Dilworth had been shot in the head.
Clay County deputies and a responding Minnesota State Trooper immediately began first aid to the man.
The 34-year-old male was taken to Sanford Hospital by Airmed.
The incident is still under investigation.
