Multiple agencies responded to a deer stand after the coroner was contacted for a person who died in a possible hunting accident.
As of now, it appears a man fell out of a stand.
The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, Wildlife & Fisheries & Chaneyville Fire all responded but had to use 4-wheelers or ATV’s to get to the scene plus it was raining.
It happened around 7:15pm on Port-Hudson Pride Rd. in Zachary.
It appears the man fell about 30 feet out of the ‘lock-on’ deer stand.
His name has not been released at this time.
