The Harvey County Sheriff’s Office and Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks are investigating a hunting accident that happened Saturday.
The accident was reported just after 7 a.m. near Burrton. Circumstances surrounding the accident have not been released.
Officials believe a man died from a gunshot wound. The victim’s name has not been released.
The Harvey County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation. They are getting help from game wardens with the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks.
