Clark County man dies in tree stand accident | Local News Digital

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources says Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating a fatal hunting accident that occurred on Sunday in Clark County.
Emergency personnel were dispatched to an area near the town of Borden after a hunter fell from a tree stand and was discovered by a family member.
Leslie Burnett, 76, of Borden, was deer hunting in an elevated ladder stand and was not wearing a full-body safety harness at the time of the accident.
The incident is still under investigation.
Conservation Officers remind hunters to always wear a full-body safety harness when hunting from an elevated platform.
