- A small-game hunter walking down a rural road in Cheboygan County’s Walker Township was contacted by a conservation officer for not wearing blaze orange, or “hunter orange.”Upon contact, the hunter stated he’d forgotten to wear the required safety garment. He was issued a ticket.
- A RAP complaint came in involving a hunter who shot a deer on Cheboygan County’s Bois Blanc Island, near the Straits of Mackinac, and failed to tag the deer.The hunter was contacted by a conservation officer at the Cheboygan ferry dock and said he forgot to properly tag the animal after it was shot. The deer and gun were seized and the hunter was cited.
