The trial concerning a hunting accident on 24 September 2016 concluded on Thursday.
The defendant in question had accidentally shot a woman sitting on a balcony during a hunt in Fentange. The 52-year-old man was found guilty of unintentional bodily harm. As a result, the court fined him €3,000 and ordered him to give up his weapon.
The judge did not follow through on the prosecutor’s recommendation of confiscating the man’s hunting license for five years.
